Our mission is to provide you and your pets with service of the highest quality, keeping your companions healthy and giving you peace of mind. We are a family run, full-service Animal Hospital. We pride ourselves in really getting to know our clients, patients, and their needs

We offer all services for cats, dogs, and exotics. Included are annual vaccinations, wellness exams, dental care, outpatient care, soft tissue surgery, all laboratory exams, etc... We benefit because we are located close to several referral hospitals to greatly increase the level of care given in our area. Also, we are currently the only Animal Hospital in Seminole County to offer Laser surgery for our patients. A new painless, bloodless option for our surgical patients. Laser declawing is standard for cats now. Call us if you have any questions!

Our Veterinarians
Dr. Kelly Wilson

Kelly Wilson, DVM - Dr. Kelly Wilson is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine that started working in the field over 25 years ago. She strives to practice and promote quality medicine within the veterinary medical field. She grew up in a small New England farm town where she worked on several different farms and was always very active in sports, the FFA, 4-H, and attended a vocational agricultural high school. She also started volunteering at a local Animal Hospital when she was very young, where her dreams of becoming a veterinarian and hospital owner sprouted. She later graduated magna cum laude at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary sciences and was also the UMass Pre-Vet Club President for 2 years.

Dr. Wilson has a true appreciation for all aspects of the Animal Hospital and its support staff, as she has held and performed every position within an Animal Hospital setting. After becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) she decided to go to Veterinary school at St. George’s University, from which she graduated. Her clinical year of Veterinary School was at Auburn University, in Alabama. She has since then worked as a general practitioner, emergency medicine veterinarian, veterinary school candidate evaluator/interviewer, and has taught veterinary medicine to both veterinary and veterinary technology students.

Some of her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are client education, dentistry, surgery, and rehabilitation. She enjoys working within the community and spending time with her animals, three dogs; Razor, Brody and Oliver; and two cats named Toe-Jangles (TJ) and Doc. She is an avid traveler, loves the outdoors/sports, enjoys laughter, is keen on offering mentorship to aspiring veterinary medical staff, and appreciates being around loved ones, especially her pets.

Dr. Stephanie Howe

Stephanie Howe, DVM - Dr. Stephanie Howe is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine who first started working in Animal Hospitals when she was 16 years old. She grew up in southern California and graduated from California Polytechnic University in Pomona with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. She moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida where she graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine. She has since then worked as a general practitioner and also teaches biology courses at a local community college. Her medical interests include hospice care, rehabilitation and fostering a strong alliance between our practice and the pets we care for. When not at work she spends time with her husband, son and daughter. As a family they currently have two Labrador Retrievers. She also takes a keen interest in crafting of all sorts.

Dr. Katelyn Menacho

Katelyn Menacho , DVM - Dr. Katelyn Menacho is originally from Central Florida. In 2018 she graduated from the University of Florida College with a doctor in veterinary medicine and certificate in food animal production. She currently operates a mobile large animal practice in addition to working at various hospitals in the surrounding areas, including at the local small animal emergency hospital and here with us at B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital. Her passion within the small animal hospital setting is providing down to earth communication with clients in addition to offering practical, individualized medical plans for every pet. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Menacho can often be found at the gym, fishing with her husband, or horseback riding.

Jess - Hospital Manager/ Veterinary Assistant - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Jess - Hospital Manager - Jess, a native of Eustis, FL, has been a veterinary assistant for 8 years. With experience in both emergency and general practice settings, she brings invaluable skills to our practice in addition to her shining personality. She is currently finishing her certified veterinarian technician degree.In her spare time Jess enjoys kayaking, going to the beach, spending time with her family, and heading to theme parks in Orlando. She loves anything Harry Potter and has an affinity for Tim Burton movies. Her fur family includes dogs, cats, and a snake.

Alyson - Veterinary Assistant/Client Service Representative - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Alyson - Assistant Hospital Manager/Veterinary Assistant - Alyson is a student at the University of Central Florida. She is a Biology major with a Pre-Veterinary focus. Alyson started volunteering in animal shelters at a young age and developed a passion for working with animals and learning about animal behavior. She loves to learn and hopes to continue on to veterinary school to take up a career in veterinary medicine. Some of her hobbies include baking, camping, kayaking, fishing, and reading. She also has two dogs, a bearded dragon, and a guinea pig.

Hanna - Client Services Representative Manager - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Hannah - Client Services Representative Manager - Hannah had been in the veterinary field since the beginning of 2019. Her special interest is in client services. She was born and raised in Michigan, and moved to Florida in August 2018. She has always been an animal lover her whole life. She shares her home with her 2 cats named MoMo and Tigger, and her dog named Cherri. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing with friends and family, and loves to swim.

Jadira - Veterinary Technician - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Jadira - Surgery Technician/Certified Veterinary Technician - Jadira has been a veterinary technician since she graduated in 2010. She worked 4 years in a specialty clinic and then moved to research. After moving to Florida from Puerto Rico, she decided to return to her roots and join the small animal practice again. That’s when we were lucky enough to add her to our team! Jadira is a mother of two beautiful children and a wife to her wonderful husband Wilfredo.

Kenny - Veterinary Assistant - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Kenny - Veterinary Assistant - Kenny has worked as a veterinary technician for approximately 20 years in a variety of clinical settings including, emergency medicine, neurology, surgery, and primary care. Kenny hopes that his vast experience and knowledge will help B.E.S.T. VETS clients, serve the community, and promote animal health.

Britney - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Britney - Veterinary Assistant/Client Service Representative - Britney Levy is currently a college student at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. She helps out wherever she is needed, whether that be receptionist, technician, or assisting the veterinarians when needed. Her favorite hobbies are playing soccer, (which she plays at her college) going on the boat, and enjoying time around her friends and family. Her major in college is biology with a minor in business and she has the aspirations of attending veterinary school in the future. She has six dogs: Cloe, Emmie, Jayda, Ellie, Jasmine, and Gator as well as three cats: Bangle, Sam, and Lola. She loves learning new information within the veterinary field and does her best to build upon what she knows.

Elianna - Student Extern/CSR-Assistant In Training - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Elianna - Veterinary Assistant/Client Service Representative - Elianna is currently a student at University of Central Florida, majoring in biology. She hopes to one day attend graduate school for veterinary medicine. Elianna is passionate about caring for animals and currently has three dogs at home. She loves to spend her free time baking, sewing, or spending time with family.

Kayle  - Client Services Representative - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Kayle - Client Services Representative - Kayle is currently attending the University of Central Florida as a Biology major on the pre-veterinary track with plans to attend veterinary school in the future. Kayle has been volunteering with animals since she was in middle school and has always been intrigued by the practice of medicine.

In her spare time she loves to go hiking, go to the gym, or watch tiny house videos on YouTube. She is currently sharing her home with a black cat named Ambrose.

Ruoyan - Client Services Representative - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Ruoyan - Client Services Representative - Ruoyan has loved living in Florida ever since moving here from China when she was nine. She always had a strong interest in the medical field and a passion for working with animals. She likes to spend her time over the weekend volunteering at animal shelters and helping the animals find their best loving home. This is also where she adopted two of her feline fur friends.

She is currently attending UCF, studying biomedical science with a pre-vet focus, with hopes of pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinary medicine practitioner in the future.

Ginny - Groomer - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Ginny - Groomer - Ginny has been grooming for the last 11 years, both on her own and with us on Fridays. She lives with her husband, 3 children, 1 dog and 6 cats. Ginny also enjoys fostering animals until they can find their forever home. In her spare time, she can be found at the gym or curled up with a good book.

Alyssa - Groomer - B.E.S.T. VETS Animal Hospital

Alyssa - Student Extern/CSR-Assistant In Training - Alyssa is a student at the University of Central Florida, studying Biology with a Pre-Vet focus. She was born in New Jersey, raised in Connecticut, and moved to Florida during the summer of 2019. At home she has 4 Siberian Huskies that are her absolute best friends.

She has been fundraising and volunteering for animal shelters since she was young and thought it was amazing that there were doctors that could speak on behalf of those that cannot speak for themselves. In her spare time she loves to read, swim, bake, and cuddle with her pups of course!

She cannot wait to continue to learn about these amazing animals that we get to call our best friends and see the ways that she can help them when they need it most and make a difference in their lives
